Health Care Assistants

Salary: From £7.30 per hour

Hours: Flexibank; as and when required

We are looking for enthusiastic Health Care Assistants to join our dedicated Nursing team caring for patients with a life threatening illness.  We offer the opportunity to extend and develop your role across the organisation and to undertake an area of special interest to enhance

the quality of care for patients and their families.

You will need to be prepared to embrace the opportunity to work within the 15 bedded ward, patients own homes or within our Day Therapy unit.  

You will have good communication skills and be able to demonstrate a passion for caring for the individual. You will be required to have or be working towards an NVQ level 2 in

care and an Enhanced CRB clearance will be required.

Specialist Nurse – Palliative Care

Children and Young People's Service (ChYps)

Indigo Band £31,137 to £38,251 per annum

(Depending on qualifications and experience)

Full time preferable / part time considered

Applications are invited from enthusiastic registered children's nurses, with specialist palliative care / community experience, to join our Children and Young People's Service (ChYps). The children and young people have a life limiting or life threatening condition and their needs vary greatly.  

This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and experience in a community setting, joining an established team to provide the best quality care to children and families in their own homes. You will need commitment and drive, excellent communication and clinical skills and a flexible adaptable approach. Participation in the 7 day / on call rota will be required.

Support with professional development will be provided as appropriate, as well as regular clinical supervision. NHS Pension scheme members can transfer their pension.

These positions will be subject to an Enhanced CRB clearance.
